He's better than you think.

I'm just thankful that we're not coming to this game with Byron Leftovers at the helm.

Another Bucs fan in the house. How is everybody in steelersville. Looking forward to the game sunday and expect a great show no matter the turnout. Whats the latest on your quarterback?
Ours is getting a lot of comparisons to Roth

in the 4+ years i've been on this board, i don't recall ever seeing a bucs fan here.... its funny how having a 2, not followed by a double digit number brings em out ....

there's less TB fan sightings on record than there are bigfoot sightings.

Whats funny is the fact that the steelers were defeated by the Browns last year.

where do people "save" posts?

freemans not bad. i would definitely say the bucs got their franchise guy and shouldnt give up on him. it was a good move to throw him into the fire as opposed to trying to win games with leftwich last year.

the bucs should feel good going into this game. recent steelers history says the team wont even practice against an unexperienced, untested young player.

we have had fits with the likes of 1st or 2nd year players leinart, cutler, clement, gradkowski, whoever was the dickstick who qb'd the browns last year, etc...

its classic lebeau defense. completely shut down the run. put the game in the inexperienced qb's hands, play prevent defense, and dare him to dink and dunk for 40-45 throws while waiting for him to make a mistake.

however this year seems different (especially with ben out, having troy and smith back, and getting burnt with that philosophy in 3 of 5 games last year).

expect lots of pressure. james harrison cannot be stopped (not legally anyways).

dixon's out 3-5 weeks, meniscus tear. batch will most likely start, or leftwich if he's good to go, but from a knee sprain, i doubt it

I am glad that we could add some excitment for you after 4 years. 2-0 is a pretty good start for sure, but 3-0 sounds better. It should be a good one down in old Tampa Bay.
