Ravens annoyed that Steelers are 3-0 and raven stats

Is anyone else annoyed that the Steelers keep winning with SECOND and THIRD string quarterbacks? I mean why can't they beat those guys. It's really annoying to me that they're 3-0. I guess what they say it right. If you want something done correctly, you have to do it yourself. We'll see them on Sunday.

what is really annoying is the national announcers who keep on saying, "just wait until Big Ben gets back!"
we should set them straight next Sunday...
except for Troy (who is a great player) - I can't stand them!

Ravens D does not have an interception
Ravens only have 5 sacks through 3 games.
They are also 22nd in rush defense, though they are 2nd in pass defense

I thought their Pass D would be their weakness this year. Not the other way around. That's a surprising stat.

I'm kind of surprised by the discrepancy. I understood their front seven to be the strength of their defense and their secondary to be extremely week with all the injuries. Perhaps their scheme is set to make up for their deficiencies in the passing game.

Baltimore AND Cincy are playing like complete guano. There's something about Flacco that I don't like. He throws a nice deep ball, but it seems he forces way too many balls at the wrong times and seems to struggle against the Steelers in that area. We can certainly give Flacco a look and cause him to throw some forced picks and he doesn't seem to utilize his weapons around him to their full potential (Boldin scorched Cleveland, but who doesn't?) Other than vs Cleveland, Baltimore hasn't looked all that impressive (and they STILL only beat the Browns by 7.)

There are some major holes in that Ravens defense and they are coming to play in our house Sunday. We are winning with our 4th string quarterbacks against quality opponents, and with the burst Mendenhall seems to be getting, we can take advantage, esp at home.

Just like Hines Ward said "Nobody wants us to be going 4-0 with a mad Ben coming back."

By looking at the stats, I thought at first teams were just running a lot on them, but the Jets, Bengals and Browns all threw the ball more than 20 times against the Ravens, so their defense is forcing passes to go short and forcing incompletions. But they are having trouble stopping the run, this plays in favor of the Steelers.

Baltimore is also an over aggressive defense. They also have backups playing on the corners and secondary. From the looks of it, gool 'ol Chuck isn't afraid to go deep, esp to the burner in Wallace so I can expect the Ravens defenders looking in the backfield and getting beat on play action and double moves.

This is a significant game for sure but its a bigger game for the Ravens than it is for us because they get to play us without the MVP of our offense and a loss would make them 1-2 in the division and effectively place them 2.5 games behind us while a win would make us both 3-1 and give them that head to head advantage and keep them in pace with the Bengals who get to play @ Cleveland next weekend and should win that game, although who knows, the Brownies did have a shot to beat the Ravens.
