Default Heinz Field

I go to Heinz field for most home games and have been to 7 different road cities for games. I love the look of Heinz, the view, the 99% Steeler crowd, the weather. It's all great for football. But when it comes to noise, Heinz doesn't match up well. I don't believe it's the crowd, as we all know the Steeler fans are the greatest in the world. It's the design of the stadium. That open end and corners just leak the noise right out of the place. Of all the different stadiums I've been to Heinz is the quietest.

The crazy thing is in the other cities we have anywhere from 10-30k Steeler fans, so the home crowd has less people yet it's still louder than Heinz.

Players say it all the time that Heinz Field is one of the toughest places to play. Of course, the noise isn't what it use to be because Three Rivers echo'd off ot it's inner bowl and back down to the field and Heinz has the open end to where noise can creep out of , but it still gets rowdy and I always believed it was Heinz's atmosphere that we create that makes it difficult for teams, not just overall crowd noise.
