Having one of those days where I HAVE to be listening to music, and just wondered what bands you could listen to anytime anywhere.
It can be more or less than 10, just wanted to get a nice even number out there! 1. Pop Will Eat Itself - Discovered this band about 5 years ago, and can't ever get enough. 2. Sublime - Whether I'm in a foul mood or just plain chilling, I can listen to any of their albums in their entirety. 3. Joy Division - Same as above, and Ian Curtis' voice just mesmerizes me. 4. The Who - No explanation needed...they are just great. 5. Children of Bodom - Not the greatest lyrics, but I can listen to Alexi Leiho shred anytime of day. 6. Tool - Explanation is beyond words. 7. Type O Negative - Peter Steele's voice makes me melt inside, and I've never been disappointed in any of their albums. 8. Queen - Same as above pretty much. Freddy Mercury was one of the best singers ever. Plus they make me happy no matter what. 9. Dead Kennedy's - Cause Jello's a crazy Mofo. 10. MC Chris - Cause I'm a Nerd Grrrl.

No neccessarily in order of preference.
1. Beatles 2. Steeley Dan 3. Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet band. 4. Eagles 5. Queen 6. Jethro tull 7. Pink Floyd 8. Righteous Brothers 9. Earth Wind and Fire. 10. Lynyrd Skynyrd Oh damn, I didn't want to look at anyone else's before posting my own so as not to be influenced, and see what would come to the top of my own head, but I've got to throw in Pink Floyd and remove Supertramp. .

Dayum right!
As far as my list goes: 1. Tool(obviously...) 2. A Perfect Circle 3. System of a Down(Serj's solo work is good also) 4. Mastodon 5. Metallica 6. Orange Goblin 7. Candlemass 8. Pantera 9. Isis 10. Five Finger Death Punch A bunch of other stuff... Had a hard time ranking anything about anything(with the exception of Tool). A lot of metal on the list, but by no means is that all I listen to. Its my favorite. But again, not the only thing. Listen to almost everything imaginable with the except of Pop. Guess I could have put Kamelot on here... See this is why I can't do lists like this! lol |
