No offense, but we already did this once, and the thread got a little...um...off-track (Actually, the test only had 9 questions, and it looks like #11 and #13 are a little harder since they involve a little algebra).

Anyway, Ryan Fitzpatrick didn't score a 50, it was an internet rumor started by Harvard students. He actually scored in the high 30's.

I'm not so sure you could call it an internet rumor. I got it from one of the Patriot's doctors about 2 days after he took the test.

Do we HAVE to run over this ground again?

http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/200...19/smarty0425/

At the NFL combine Harvard quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick's 4.07 seconds in the 20-yard short shuttle run was second best among QBs, but his most eye-opening statistic was nine minutes. That's how long he took to complete the 50-question intelligence exam most prospects fail to finish in the allotted 12 minutes. His swift time on the Wonderlic Personnel Test resulted in a score of 38, double the mean.

What does this have to do with what I just posted? Can you read? I said it wasn't an internet rumor because I heard it 2 days after he took the test. No where do I say that I'm not now aware that he didn't max it.

You got to learn to slow down mr. fast-draw.

So, are you stating that Harvard Students couldn't have started the rumor the very day he took the test? Maybe even before he took the test?

Those damn dumb Harvard students, always waiting for team doctors to help them start internet rumors...if only they'd have YOU on the case, working all the angles 2 years after the fact.

Hey, Suit, just read what I said. Don't read anything else into it and say I said it. I didn't comment on the Harvard aspect of it. The rumor was going around by phone when I heard it, and it came from within the Patriots organization.

The long and short of it remains that posting Wonderlic tests on internet Message Boards never result in anything good.

As a matter of fact, I think there was a huge flame war at an old board of mine over something equally as innocuous as this.

You sure went the extra mile for something you see as innocuous.

I can see what you mean about the thread getting off track.
