interesting movie / documentary about 4 young pakistani men that went to pakistan for one of them to get married. they ended up going site seeing in afghanistan right before the US started bombing and was captured by the north alliance and sold to the US as terrorist and sent to guantanomo for a few years.... they were innocent .

you really gotta watch the road to gitmo vid to get the full affect. but the case the interrogators tried to make against these guys was that they attended an osama bin laden rally. they produced a pic from the rally and picked out a couple blurry faces out of the pic and tried to say it was these guys. their saving grace was the date of the rally. one of the accused was in legal trouble in england and had to see a probation officer weekly , so that proved he couldn't have been there , another had a work alibi as his proof . but yet the CIA never bothered to investigate this before hand.
how can you say your promoting democracy and freedom for these people then doing the exact opposite ?

Great point. 2 years later, they finally get around to it. Not only that but the fear we live in has forced us to shoot first and ask questions later. Bullshit on any politician saying we are winning. Actions speak louder than words and stopping terrorist attacks isn't the only measure of winning the war on terror. This puts us years behind in any attempt to "win."
