Fun statistics going into week 8
Eli Manning has more touchdowns than Peyton with 14, though Peyton has the best touchdown to interception ratio with 13 touchdowns and only 2 interceptions, an all time low for this point in the season for Peyton. Favre has the worst touchdown to interception ratio with 7 to 10.
Eli and Brees are tied at 14 touchdowns, but both have over 10 interceptions on the season.
Philip Rivers is on track to throw 5385 yards. Manning many years was on track to break Marino's 5084 yard record but never got there because he usually sat out the last 2-3 games of the season. Rivers has a better chance of breaking it because he'll play out the season with his 2-5 chargers.
Antonia Gates leads the league in receving touchdowns with 8 though 7 games. Gates has not had over 10 touchdowns since 2005. He had 13 touchdowns in 2004. He has 72 in his 7 year career,Gonzales holds the record with 85 through 14 seasons. Gates is on track to have over 140 touchdowns by the time he's Tony's age.
