Sounds like a good draft day for the Lions

Mike Williams taken by the Lions. With so much need at other positions.

Clarett will be an NFL bust like Brian Bosworth...Just not as high of a pick.

In Denver's system I think Clarett will be better than most think. One issue for him is that they have a crowded backfield so that could limit his minutes.

Mike Williams didn't make sense there but knowing how much of a problem that Charles Rogers has had staying healthy I understood the selection. This team is loaded on offense for Mooch and company.

I think GB got the steal of the first round in getting Rodgers, who many felt that he would be a top 10-15 pick. Now they can just let him sit for a few and learn from Farve.

I agree, except for the DeMarcus Ware pick, Bill Parcells said he "reminded him of Lawrence Taylor," so I think its worth a top 15 pick to reach on someone that can be that good. Derrick Johnson, missed a few tackles last year and doesn't fit the 3-4 style and is a bit small, remember Bill's motto is, "bigger is better."

I agree I think Washington should have taken Rodgers with the 9th pick instead of Carlos Rogers. He would have made a bigger impact right away.

I still say Matt Jones was a reach w/ the Jags at thier pick. They may have needed a WR, but the draft was so deep, and Jones will be a bit of a project. This pick could be a boom for them or a bust!
