When you lok around and see how many teams are drying to get corners...and we have a guy just getting to his prime...why on earth would you discard him so lightly. You can never have enough good defensive backs.

Wow...

I'm so glad the fans have absolutely no say on what actually happens on the Steelers.

IMO, we head into next season with no IKE, it's going to be a long year in the secondary. I like McFadden just as much as the next fan, but I'm not comfortable with him starting next year. We are finally getting a young, solid CB and now we are going to throw him away? After years of watching Chad "Toast" Scott and Dwayne Washington getting beat?!?!?!

IKE needs to be signed in my opinion and I think this is one signing the Rooney's will open up the check book in order to keep.

The Jets may need a CB but they also have a crying need for a QB. New Orleans is either going to use its #2 pick on the OT from Virginia or shop the pick, since they certainly do not plan to draft Matt Leinart or the Vandy QB now that they have signed Drew Brees.

I would be surprised if the Jets burn a #1 as compensation for Ike Taylor given the need to placate the NY media and get a replacement at QB for Pennington and Patrick Ramsey by trading up in the draft.
