Default penn state pro day

did any one catch the report on the pro day at penn state? apparently things didn't go so well. robinson still wants to be a quarterback, and the cornerbacks 40 times were very slow for a fast track. I guess the only one that looked good was there safety #10 can't remember his name at the moment.

It also looks like that if the steelers are after DB jason allen we would have to move up a bunch of picks to get him.

The afternoon sesion at PSU's pro-day was closed to all media. They have some measurments, but the second part of the day is when they run and jump. From what I can gather things didn't go so well. Ethan Kilmer and Calvin Lowery stole the show with good numbers and good performances in their position drills.

its usually not good when a DT is almost as fast as a safety

I know what you mean... another embarrassing factoid from pro-day is that WR Ethan Kilmer (6-0?, 204) did 19 lifts of 225lbs, and projected first round pick DE Tamba Hali (6-2 5/8, 263) did 18.

I thought Harrell looked fast enough on the field. It's funny because at the end of the season a lot of people were talking like all four of PSU's defensive backs would be drafted on the first day... Now it looks like possibly none of them will.

These guy are football players not track stars... Phillips, and Zemaitis were phenomenal the last couple seasons. It will be interesting to see how they perform at the next level.
