Hines Ward's and Cedric Benson's TD's

Upon further review, I don't think either guy got in. Hines looked touched down with the ball a few inches short. Would have been 4th down and inches to go. Didn't get as good a look at Benson's, but with his back to the goal line I don't think the ball got over the line either. Would have been 3rd and a foot for a TD.

Along with those, I thought the PI on Taylor, the roughing on Hampton were both total BS calls.

After watching it again, Ward was definitely down, but I don't think anyone touched him.

Had Lewis thrown the flag though, there's a good chance it would have been overturned. Glad his hands went numb at that moment for sure.

They need to start reviewing the game films and punishing their stupid asses for bad calls. The roughing call on Hampton was pure BS! If a college ref made as many bad calls as some of these clowns they would be suspended!

it's funny.. every week there are countless complaints about refs screwing up in the NFL. yet in college, you rarely ever hear the mentioning of referees following games. they are non-factors week in and week out. anyone else notice this?

the fact is the NFL has gotten too fast for the refs. couple that in with the NFL implementing all these absurd rules, and they are just laying the ground for inconsistency.

teams get 2 challenges regardless if its in the same quarter or half.

I think the psychological effects of losing a challenge just a few plays earlier is why Starvin Marvin didn't throw it on the Ward TD. He knew he might need that challenge late in the game.
