Saw this on ESPN. When did this happen?
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=5784412 PITTSBURGH -- Steelers safety Will Allen and running backs Mewelde Moore and Isaac Redman sustained concussions during Monday night's game in Cincinnati and must pass tests before being cleared to play. The Steelers (6-2) had numerous injuries during their 27-21 victory, with left guard Chris Kemoeatu's sprained knee apparently the most serious. He could be limited in practice before Sunday's game against New England (6-2). Kemoeatu's injury, plus those to center Maurkice Pouncey (bruised leg) and left tackle Max Starks (shoulder), forced the Steelers to shuffle their offensive line from series to series. Doug Legursky played guard and center before Pouncey returned. Defensive end Brett Keisel (hamstring) was limited to a few snaps in his first game since Oct. 17, while tight end Heath Miller has fluid on a knee. |

This explains why at the end of the game neither Redman or Moore came in for Mendy when he was tired after running 6 times ina row.
I do remember redman going down, but i didn't think it was bad, but I didn't see moore go down unless it was on special teams. Keisel was out more of the game it seemed. Hoke actually was playing defensive end instead of Eason, and what happened to that extra defensive end the steelers signed? Must not know the plays that good. Hopefully Kemo gets better, but Legursky actually played well at his spot. Those big runs at the end of the game were without Kemo in the game. I hope Miller's injury isn't that bad, a swollen knee can limit a lot of mobility. Spaeth was almost an offensive tackle last night with all the injuries, can't have him playing tackle if we need a tightend to keep Miller fresh. |

Sounds like Redman and Moore will be ready for the Patriots game.
http://www.steelersdepot.com/2010/11...injury-report/ I can't wait to see Ramon Foster at left guard and time for Jonathan Scott to step up filling in for Max Starks. I am concerned about Heath Miller's water in the knee though. Hopefully he can make the rest of this season. |
