My freshmen year of college I had a roommate from Philly. They of course say "soda". By the end of the 3rd quarter I had him saying pop. :)

The Eastern Seaboard calls it "soda". That's all I heard when I worked in DC. Once you head a little West and enter the mountians, people talk normal and say "pop". In Western Maryland, it's "pop".
