Default Officials admit to bad calls against Steelers

"NFL says officials made 2 wrong calls against Steelers
Friday, November 12, 2010
By Gerry Dulac, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette
The Steelers have been informed by the National Football League that two penalties that almost cost them in Monday night's victory in Cincinnati should not have been called, the Post-Gazette has learned."

Since Players are getting penalized or fined so much this year.....shouldn't the Officials start getting fined / penalized for making so many "bad/wrong" calls?!

Goodell will probably just use it as another excuse to fine James Harrison.

F^@k him.

So the league admits to a bad call by the refs. That and a bag of chips get you what? I think Goodell should be fined $75,000.

Officals do get reprimanded for making incorrect calls on the field, plus it hurts their grade for the year and affects their chances of officiating in the playoffs and superbowl. That's why coaches do things like file complaints with the league office over a play. We wouldn't want the same officals who made bad calls officiating in the playoffs would we?

Other than that bad calls are part of the game and there's nothing you can do about it.
