yeah switching kickers mid season probably isnt the best idea, especially with the cold climate coming to Heinz, at least Reed knows it well. This new kicker doesnt look like a great upgrade

I just read somewhere that more dirt came off the field sunday night than usual when the field is cleaned after the game. Litterally mounds of dirt. Bellichick opted out of a couple field goal attempts because of it. Which could explain some of the 4th down atempts when leading and punting inside the 40.

This Shaun Suisham has a career percentage lower than Reed, but he is used to bad conditions playing in the NFC east, so I don't expect him to choke in Heinz field with the bad conditions.

The Heinz turf falling apart every November is a recurring story, but Reed pointing it out in his post-game tirade Sunday night might have been a bigger factor in his release than I initially considered it to be because: 1) it showed the Heinz conditions which he usually handled were inside his head; and 2) the Rooneys have always been very defensive about going to a different playing surface and do not like to get called out on it.

It is all well and good for Cook and Bouchette to bleat about dumping Reed being the wrong move but since so many of us are wondering why cut Reed now it would be nice if the Post-Gazette or Tribune-Review would do some reporting and find out WTF has prompted this as opposed to being stenographers for whatever the Steelers put out there

Interesting that Reed and his agent apparently have gone to ground and are silent

I also read somewhere that there was more dirt swept under the rug that the public doesn't know about. Yet

Not sure about lifestyle? But it's about some sort of incidents on road trips.

Does this have to do with Kordell Stewart?
