Default GO LIONS!!!!!

Lions are beating the Patriots 14-3 and have almost doubled the time of possession. Lions have beaten the Pats in every phase of the game so far. How in the hell did we lose to these guys so badly? From the look of things in this game so far, we have to have the absolute worst coaching staff in the NFL, bar none. No way a team like Detroit can beat down the Pats they way they have and we get run over. It just boggles the mind when you think about it. Crazy year in the NFL.

detroit isn't a bad team. i think they will be playoff bound next season

the whole season they have played a very tough schedule and played everyone tough. they just have trouble finishing off teams when they have the lead in the 4th quarter, but they're a young and inexperienced team, it'll happen.

I wouldn't say the worst, but most of it have to do with our banged up players. And for the record I hate night games

Haha, yeah...I wasn't planning on watching much of this game today (was really only very interested in the Jets/Bungles game)...but just checked the score in between cooking and might need to watch the second half of this one!

Go Lions!

i had a feeling this game was gonna be a tough one for new england. detroit has played tough all this season despite their record, and are especially tough at home. i knew the pats weren't going to come into the game and walk away with it easily.

I had posted this on the Steelers forum - don't know why it was moved as I was talking about our team and how it relates to what happened with the Pats. But oh well, go figure the wisdom of the mods.

Well, it looks like this one went down the toilet in the 2nd half. The Lions have a real stinker of a CB in #27 - Alfonso Smith - this guy flat out sucks - he couldn't cover a paper bag. He repeatedly got burned by Brady & Co. - he's given up 3 TDs and finally wound up getting benched. Don't know why it took the coaches so long to bench him - must be taking a page from the Steelers bad coaching handbook. It looks like the Pats are going to run away with this one. Oh well, it seemed like a great game in the 1st half. Detroit imploded in the 2nd half - go figure.

Wow, the officials sure do love the patriots*

Can someone explain to me why there was no penalty against them on the last extra point? I mean other than Goodell's ****ing man crush.

How about the Patriots are just good and Brady is a gamer!
