Default 3 Round Internet Mock Draft.

About 9 or 10 guys got together to try and simulate a 3 round draft - some teams were picked for by fans of that team - unrepresented teams were picked by whoever was online at the time.

There was a 3 man panel to try and eliminate people making deliberately bad picks for teams they didn't like.

We still had a Redskins fan attempt to pick a punter in the 1st round for the Giants - but apart from that it went quite well.

Koopa was the man with the Steelers picks (just so you know who to blame ) and I took care of the Patriots picks.

There should be a 7 round mock taking place later in the year if anyone is interested in representing a favorite/ 2nd favorite team - obviously not the Steelers as they are taken.

They've been great for a while now, three Super Bowls' worth of great. But only this season have the New England Patriots become The Show, the must-see team of stars, pretty boys and reformed bad boys. Suddenly, the Patriots are not simply great; they're compelling, fascinating, appearing to be almighty and a touch lawless.
The Patriots didn't bother with swagger to start this NFL season; they went straight to defiant. Either you're one of them or you're about to get crushed.

Pretty good job Koop... I'd be very happy with those three guys. I would rather have seen Chad Jackson drop one more spot to 32, but both guys will likely be gone by the time we pick anyway.

Nick Mangold that late in the second was a stellar pick. That guy could go first round.

I think Moss will go higher than #32. I was reading up on him today, and he's a little stronger than his older brother, and with Santana's and Steve Smith's success last year, there is renewed interest in little burner dudes again.

Also, with the Steelers making it clear that Hartings is now and Okobi is tomorrow at center, the Mangold pick becomes obsolete. I still love the Humes pick at #3, though. Bring him in and give him a year to learn and play a few downs, then 2007 as Humes and Willie?

yeah this mock draft we did before the combine i think. i would love to see him or jackson picked there, jackson could be that number 1 we need, or moss can be exactly what el is without him throwing passes.

and i'm kinda glad to hear that about hartings and okobi is gonna be sticking around. i don't really like picking o-linemen that early when we don't really need to.

so who do you got us picking with the first pick??

As of now, I'm sticking with Nance, although I still think it's a bit of a reach. I won't be geared up for full draft mode until after March Madness.

I dont think that we would draft moss if he was avalible, i think the steelers will draft wright if he's still on the board because he would give us addtional depth on the dline espicaically if we fail to resign Keisel, we'll need a young dlineman who is big and stout and against the run.

I also hope that we try to trade up and draft Nance in the early 2nd round because i think he would give us the aspect we lacked this season on offense
