Gil Brandt seems to like all our picks, is he on the payroll or something?

I do too. I think we got some guys with high floors and the potential to have a ceiling higher than where they were drafted.

Draft Grades:

Football's Future 2005 Draft Grades:

Pittsburgh Steelers: B+
--The Steelers had an excellent draft. They nabbed the drafts top tight end at the end of the first round in Heath Miller. Bryant McFadden was a nice pick in the second, especially considering some corners that went ahead of him only moved up because of their 40 times. They also got a great start on Day Two by grabbing Day One talents in WR Fred Gibson and LB Rian Wallace.
Keep an eye on: Rian Wallace, LB, Temple

Walters Football site:

Pittsburgh Steelers: A
--The Steelers drafted TE Heath Miller, who becomes a very dangerous weapon for Ben Roethlisberger. Their second-round choice was used on cornerback Bryant McFadden. Pittsburgh also had a few solid second-day selections like: WR Fred Gibson, OLB Rian Wallace and G Chris Kemoeatu, all of whom were third-round prospects.

NFL Football Betting:

Pittsburgh Steelers: B+
--The Steelers benefited from the Jolley trade to New York and picked up the best tight end in the draft, Health Miller. Miller is touted to have the best hands in the draft. He's a converted quarterback, which would mean every single person starting on the offensive side of the ball in Steeler land was once a QB. Crazy! Seriously though, Miller's a good pick, giving young buck Roethlisberger a safety option. McFadden is a fast and confident corner who can jump in and help right away. He's good in coverage and aggressive in the run. He'll smack you. Essex is a project, but some think he can turn into a top flight left tackle, and the Steelers seem to find good players with lots of potential.

Dallas News:

Pittsburgh Steelers: B
--TE Heath Miller adds a new dimension to the offense, while CB Bryant McFadden, WR Fred Gibson, and G Chris Kemoeatu add depth at paper-thin positions. Trai Essex supposedly has the quickest feet of any linemen in the draft, but that's all he is: a big guy with quick feet, not a great blocker. Bill Cowher and his staff must see something the scouts don't. Gibson, who also played basketball at Georgia, won a slam-dunk contest when he was in high school. There are some odd choices here, but Miller could be the player that pushes the Steelers over the top, while McFadden, Gibson and Kemoeatu fill real needs.

That definately gives me even more hope that he can be a real force for us. We should definately be set in our nickel and dime packages this year!

Whatha.......dude are you bi-polar or what?
Before the draft Fabian Washington was who you wanted. You stated it multiple times. Do you know what you are talking about or do you just go around typing BS.......This is a quote from April 5th.

Quote:
pretend u select the first round pick in the draft this year, who do u draft? (make it realistic with the 30th pick, dont pick like Braylon Edwards or something)Personally i pick either Matt Jones (if available), Shaun cody or Fabian Washington
You have no credibility.......
I am confused.
