Based on the numbers of Terry McAulay’s crew, it’s difficult to predict whether the officials will let these AFC North rivals play. McAulay’s officiating group has called the fifth-fewest penalties in the NFL this season (134 in 10 games). This crew has flagged unnecessary roughness and roughing the passer six times each – both of which rank in the middle of the pack. McAulay hasn’t officiated a Ravens game since September 2009, when the Ravens routed the Cleveland Browns, 34-3. The Ravens were penalized eight times for 84 yards in that game.
