Gil Brandt, of NFL.com, reports about 150 representatives from every club were on campus for USC's Pro Day Sunday, April 2. Just a few in attendance were Green Bay Packers general manager Ted Thompson, St. Louis Rams head coach Scott Linehan, Carolina Panthers head coach John Fox, Houston Texans head coach Gary Kubiak, New York Giants vice president of player evaluation Chris Mara, Philadelphia Eagles vice president of player personnel Jason Licht, Minnesota Vikings director of college scouting Scott Studwell, and the entire Tennessee Titans coaching staff, including general manager Floyd Reese.
Gil Brandt, of NFL.com, reports USC RB Reggie Bush measured a height of 5-11 and a weight of 202 pounds at his Pro Day. He ran the 40-yard dash with a time of 4.33 seconds, but the times were measured electronically which historically adds about .08 seconds to his time. He measured a 10-foot-9 long jump and a 40 1/2-inch vertical jump. Gil Brandt, of NFL.com, reports USC WR William Buchanon measured a height of 6-3 and a weight of 191 pounds at his Pro Day. He ran the 40-yard dash twice with times of 4.38 seconds, but the times were measured electronically which historically adds about .08 seconds to his times. He also measured a 40-inch vertical jump. Gil Brandt, of NFL.com, reports USC S Darnell Bing measured a height of 6-1 3/4 and a weight of 225 pounds at his Pro Day. He ran the 40-yard dash with times of 4.63 seconds and 4.53 seconds, but the times were measured electronically which historically adds about .08 seconds to his times. He measured a 10-foot-5 long jump and a 38-inch vertical jump while completing 21 repetitions on the 225-pound bench press. Gil Brandt, of NFL.com, reports USC OT Winston Justice measured 6-6 ? and weighed 320 pounds at his Pro Day workout Sunday, April 2. Justice had a 34?-inch arm length, 39-inch vertical jump, and 38 lifts. Gil Brandt, of NFL.com, reports USC FB David Kirtman measured 5-11 1/2 and weighed 232 pounds at his Pro Day workout Sunday, April 2. Kirtman ran his 40 in 5.15, but that was the only time he ran it and it was slow due to the effects of a previously pulled calf. He had a 34 1/2-inch vertical jump and 26 lifts. All 40-yard dash times were clocked electronically, which historically adds about .08 of a second to the actual time. Gil Brandt, of NFL.com, reports USC QB Matt Leinart measured 6-5 5/8 and weighed 224 pounds at his Pro Day workout Sunday, April 2. Leinart had a 9-foot-6 long jump and a 37-inch vertical jump. Gil Brandt, of NFL.com, reports USC OT Taitusi Lutui measured 6-3 ? and weighed 330 pounds at his Pro Day workout Sunday, April 2. He ran his 40s in 5.42 and 5.33. Had a 8-foot-6 long jump, 32-inch vertical jump, and 26 lifts. All 40-yard dash times were clocked electronically, which historically adds about .08 of a second to the actual time. Gil Brandt, of NFL.com, reports USC OG Fred Matua measured 6-2 3/8 and weighed 301 pounds at his Pro Day workout Sunday, April 2. He ran his 40s in 5.06 and 5.19. For a guy over 300 pounds to run a 40-yard dash in a theoretical time under five seconds, he should shoot up draft boards. He also had a 30-inch vertical and 26 lifts. All 40-yard dash times were clocked electronically, which historically adds about .08 of a second to the actual time. Gil Brandt, of NFL.com, reports USC DE Frostee Rucker measured 6-3 1/4 and weighed 261 pounds at his Pro Day workout Sunday, April 2. He ran his 40s in 4.80 and 4.81. Had a 9-foot-7 long jump and a 35-inch vertical jump. All 40-yard dash times were clocked electronically, which historically adds about .08 of a second to the actual time. Gil Brandt, of NFL.com, reports USC S Scott Ware measured 6-1 1/4 and weighed 213 pounds at his Pro Day workout Sunday, April 2. Ware had a 36?-inch vertical jump. He did not run. Gil Brandt, of NFL.com, reports USC RB LenDale White measured 6-0 3/4 and weighed 244 pounds at his Pro Day workout Sunday, April 2. White had 15 lifts, but didn't do any vertical or long jumps. Shockingly White, who did not run the forty at the combine, did not run here at Pro-day. Sources have just told us White did not run because of a "sore hamstring". Weighed in at 244-pounds. Plans are being made to hold another pro-day for White in two weeks Gil Brandt, of NFL.com, reports USC CB Justin Wyatt measured 5-9 1/8 and weighed 189 pounds at his Pro Day workout Sunday, April 2. Wyatt ran his 40s in 4.74 with a bad start but managed a 4.63 with a good start. Had a 10-foot-1 long jump, 40-inch vertical jump, and 14 lifts. All 40-yard dash times were clocked electronically, which historically adds about .08 of a second to the actual time.

White is heavier than listed, and him not running may hurt his draft status...but in a GOOD way for Steelers fans.

If there is one thing I will never forget after reading that article is that when you time 40 yard dash times electronically it adds about 0.08 secs to the actual time, historically.

They've been great for a while now, three Super Bowls' worth of great. But only this season have the New England Patriots become The Show, the must-see team of stars, pretty boys and reformed bad boys. Suddenly, the Patriots are not simply great; they're compelling, fascinating, appearing to be almighty and a touch lawless. The Patriots didn't bother with swagger to start this NFL season; they went straight to defiant. Either you're one of them or you're about to get crushed. |

Why not the Steelers have no immediate needs to fill, why not draft the best avalible player even at RB and groom him for the starter job a few years down the road, I mean
Lendale White is the best RB coming out this year ( no offense to bush but he wont be a every down back in the NFL) |

I heard NFL Insider Pat Kirwin say that if White(when he does run)were to run a 4.6-4.65 in the 40 that that could possibly be enough to drop him down to the Steelers. |

White is out of shape, has shown a poor work ethic, and has character questions that need to be answered, has turned what appeared to be a sure first-rounder into a top-tier second-round pick.
