Default Sacks

Steelers had 4. Ravens had 3.

Did the Steelers offensive line have a hold?

We ripped them last week but let's give them some credit. They were good enough today, even after losing Flozell.

They didn't do great, but they did good. I think you ought to be able to win consistently with that kind of protection. I don't agree with the way some people say they have to hold their blocks "too long" for Ben because he moves around and holds the ball. I disagree with that because if the line did there job, Ben wouldn't be on the run. That being said, we need to start doing some, not necessarily a lot, but some quick 2-3 step passes to receivers that are 5-10 yards out. Also the receivers have to get open better. If we did some quick throws and our receivers broke open a little more I think the performance by the O line tonight would be sufficient to win, I mean hell, that was against Baltimore.

Yeah, I was surprised. They weren't too good early on but somewhere in the middle I suddenly was like, "Hey! Ben has some time to throw! Awesome!"

Ben made it much easier for everyone today by throwing the damn ball away and also getting rid of the ball quickly. I know his miracle plays help, but if he does what he did today, it is a much better way of staying healthy and less stress on the line.

I will say this, this line is playing their butts considering there are 2 3rd stringers in there.

i think pouncey is the only player on our line not to miss a game due to injury yet. it's crazy. i liked our setup before this game because trai essex wasn't seeing the field, then flozell going down changes that...

I think there was some holds. Not as bad as last week.

Our biggest problem was lining up in a straightline. I think we need to put little X's on the grass for them.

Line looked okay but one of those sacks was on Ben.

I believe the Ravens had 2 sacks, not 3.

The o-line played the same as they allways do. The difference was the fact that Ben threw the ball away, at least 3 times that I can remember.

I think his foot problems made him more aware of the fact that sometimes you just have to throw the ball away. Now as for if this will continue, we'll just have to wait and see next week! 3 straight home games!
