ANY bengals 7 game win streak looks like crap to me. really? whats more likely to happen? a bengals 7 game win streak or manning "imploding" in the regular season? or did you just mean dungy resting him for the post season by that point?

not only a pats homer but a bengals homer???

What more credible..me being a Bengals homer or you being a a homer for their greatest rivals?

I think its clear who is more impartial.

The Patriots didn't bother with swagger to start this NFL season; they went straight to defiant. Either you're one of them or you're about to get crushed.

I think both of these things are likely to happen - im afraid I don't an exact % to hand - my odds-calculating supercomputer is on its annual holiday in Hawaii.

And as I think both things are lilely to happen, and the fact that they aren't mutually exclusive there is no reason to guess which is more likely to happen.

The middle stretch is very winnable for a team with the Bengals talent level and high potential for improvement on the D side of the ball.

I look at each game in its own context and ask myself who is most likely to win it - whether these wins come in a streak of 7 or not is irrelevant.

NM

ps If I had "effectively dodged" your initial question I doubt you would be asking me to answer it on your very next post.

i asked what is more likely to happen. nice cop out. since the laws of probability must be foreign to you i will make this simple for you:

the bengals are more likely to lose one out of 7 games than manning is to "fizzle out" (lol- you wish) in the regular season.

cant toot the patriots horn no more so now youre gonna play trumpet for the bengals?

classic!

Why can't I toot the Patriots horn 'no more'?

Last I heard they were still credible challengers for next years SB.

Anyway, this is the kind of stuff I expect to see in the blast furnace - try and increase the football content and lessen the childish sniping - its tedious.

If Carson Palmer rushes his injury, and the Bengals let him start on opening day before he's ready, they deserve to lose his services when he permanently injures his knee due to rushing back without proper rehab time.
