steelers training camp?!?!?!?!

ok so this may make me sound like a DA, but i finally get the chance to go to training camp ths year and i don't know too much about it. so can eveyone help me by letting me know if there's a price (i don't believe there is, but i have to ask), where it's at (in latrobe right? but where, what facility), what to bring, can you meet some of the players, etc.?!?!?!?!

just get on rt 30, and you will see the line to turn in start when you get close, there is a back way in that usually doesnt have near the line or any line at all but if you dont know the area it would be best to go on rt 30. I suggest getting there early to either get in the front to try to get some autographs, if you have kids bring them cause they players sign for them much much more (as they should I might add). If you have a couple people you can have some one get you a spot in one of the two shady spots. last year they brought the traveling great hall also... Hopefully they will have a practice at my old high school this year since we got the new field, not sure what the rotation is though it was latrobe hs last year

Definitely worth the trip...you'll spend more time on the road then you will at the practice, but it's still highly recommended...

My wife and sisters and sis in laws do the womens Steelers training camp annually, this is a great way to get autos, mee the players, practice on thier field and so much more.

Yeah, we saw them on the sidelines last year because it was "graduation" or whatever they call it.

There was even a "Brokeback Ladies Camp" thing going on...

The autographs they have been able to get are well worth the $75 price tag. Bettis, Ward, Ben, and on and on.

I wore my black jersey...I harbored no illusions about my chances of getting an autograph, though.

I'll wear my away next year, but only for the practical reason that white is easier on the body in the heat.

last summer I went once to the day camp at St. Vincent and to the night practice at Latrobe High School. both have their pros and cons. I liked the day practice because I got more autographs (even tho we weren't in the "autograph area" at first) but the heat did suck. plus the day practices are free. the night practice is I think $5 that supports the high school's athletic program but it's easier to find the player whose autograph you want.
