Default No Miller Time on Sunday? :(

Post-concussion symptoms linger for Steelers' Miller

Steelers' tight end Heath Miller is hit by the Bills' Reggie Torbor during a game last month in Buffalo.

Steelers tight end Heath Miller suffered a setback with his concussion and did not practice today, which leaves his status for Sunday's game against the New York Jets in doubt.

Miller missed last Sunday's game against Cincinnati because of a concussion he sustained on Dec. 5 at Baltimore.

He practiced for the first time since then on Wednesday, but sat out today when he experienced a mild headache.

"He experienced a little headache," said offensive coordinator Bruce Arians. "Very cautious. We're not going to take any chances with him."

Arians said he hopes Miller can practice on Friday and play on Sunday but they will not take any chances.

"I sure have my fingers crossed, I hope so, but we're going to do what's in his best interests, his family's. We're not going to force anything. He's smart enough to make the right decision."

Hopefully he sits if he still has symptoms - that was a brutal hit

I agree, no need to rush him back.

This is a problem as this might be our biggest mismatch on the field for our offense. The Jets stop the run and have a shut down corner, but stopping short and medium range passing is their weakness.

That is where our rookies come into play.

I'd like to see him take not only this game off but Thursday nights game as well.

I'm still stunned he got up and walked off the field. I've never seen someone's head snap back like that, thought for sure he had broken his neck.

He has a wife and children. Stay on the sideline Heath.
