I'm amazed it was only 48. When you average 21 yards/catch, you'd think almost all of them would be first downs. I honestly can't remember more than three or four short catches. Maybe I'm just blocking out all of those ingenious bubble screens.

I can't recall a single TD catch he's had from inside the opponent's 10. I don't think Ben even looks his way in the red zone. Does that answer your question?

Not suprising considering he averages 21 a catch. If his 10 TDs aren't counted that means less than 10 of his catches were not for first downs.

Not really... Does a TD count as a 'first down' on the stat sheet? I don't know if it does or not. I'm just saying that it could be deceiving to say only 48 out of 60 were for first downs if it was really 48 out of 50 since he had 10 TDs (or 58 out of 60 went for a 1st or TD).
