The Steelers Offensive Line has been named the Top Protectors in week 17 and now join the list of this year’s contenders for the 2nd annual Madden Most Valuable Protectors Award, presented by Prilosec OTC. The award honors the NFL’s best offensive line and will be presented during the week of Super Bowl XLV which will be played on February 6, 2011 in North Texas.

WTF did I just read. They don't even deserve to be in the top 20.

They havent played all that bad. Even though I'm a hug Ben supporter, he took about 10 dumb sacks this year, and their sack total has been down anyway.

Mendy has run fairly well, top 7 in the league etc etc. Top it off we had 2-4 inuries throughout the year and the nfl's best center playing for us.

i wouldnt say pounceys the best in the league right now, but he's certainly top 5 already lol

Ben make the offensive line look alot worse then they actually are. Theres no doubt about that. For the tool bags that think he is the only person that can function back there check out the 3-1 record when he was suspended. Ben holds the ball way to long every one in the world know that.
