Default Lions Draft Day

My dad (the biggest lions fan ever), is very happy. They got shaun cody who with shaun rogers and james hall can be a excellent line. Wow they are gonna have a explosive offense, Kevin Jones with 1,000+ in the second half of the season alone, Mike and roy williams at WR and Charles rogers if healthy. They also got Charles Rogers. Imagine if they start Jeff Garcia

I think they might find themselves with alot of "Why am I not getting the ball?" with all these WR. I don't think they'll all be satisfied in the same offense.

Nah, Kevin Jones u dnt have to worry abuot him hes just gonna run the ball for the Recievers:

Marcus pollard at TE isnt' gonna be the 50-60+ recieveing tight end he is. He is gonna be the guy that bails the QB out on 3rd down and goal line situations

Roy williams is the number one guy and is gonna have a breakout season i can gaurantee
Mike williams is gonna be the guy that is gonna sneak out and make the big play
Charles rogers is just gonna get injured again loool

I wanna know WTF they were thinking drafting another WR when their defense is so lousy !!!! Yeah Rogers was hurt, but man, address your needs, and when your defense stinks, why not address that area first in a draft so deep at WR anyways.

their defense isnt that lousy. Dre Bly, Shaun rogers, now shaun cody, Teddy Lehman shined as a rooke last year, James Hall and boss Bailey who ran in the 40 in 4.39 is returning to the linebacker position from injury

yes, but thats where they're glaring needs are, they have weapons on offense, atleast some, but I still just think adding another WR, was not the smartest decision to make. but whatever floats their boat.

I grew up in Michigan and I kinda like the Lions, but this is a dumb pick. I have never seen a team draft the same position three years in a row

They were all early in the first round too.........In 3 years they are gonna have like 35 million tied up in WR's. They will have to field a team with the remaining 50 mil.

1) it still comes down to Joey Harrington. 2) Millen is all about buzz. Its been too long since anyway had anything to say about Detroit. If they take anyone else, they are an outside pick at the SuperBowl. If they take Williams then they become a wait a second/trendy pick to go the the dance in their backyard.
