Default Cheering for the Jets upset

I KNOW we’re going to play whoever we play next week and be happy doing it. The opponent and game location we can’t control. BUT with that said, I’m cheering for the Jets today. NOT so much that I think it would be fortunate getting to avoid the Pats, but because a Jets upset today brings next weeks AFC Championship game HOME. There’s nothing I’d like better, but it’s not a practical thing, to go to Foxboro and stuff out the Pats, fitting that the two best teams play and we prevail as the best of the lot on their turf. So it’s not so much the opponent, but bringing the premier game home for the national stage. Along with the obvious advantages of being at home.

I almost wish we could play them both. We didn't bring our "A" game against either team and redemption would be awesome! Although, the prospect of making brady cry does have a certain allure to it.

I really don't care who we end up playing or where because both scenario's have the same appeal.

If the Jets win, they come to Heinz and we can get some payback for the November loss.

If the Pats win, we can go to Foxboro and get a decade-long monkey off our backs.

In either case, we still get to the Super Bowl and we still get satisfaction out of the win beyond just being a ticket to the dance. So to me, that's win - win no matter how it plays out today.

Sure if the Jets win we get another Home Playoff Game.......Its going to take a much better effort all around to beat either of them

but we're certainly capable

bring on either one

It would be SO KOOL to have another playoff game at Heinz Field... that place was AMAZING last nite ! We can NOW take down either the Jets OR Patriots, but to play at Heinz is the "only" reason for me to goe for Jets, Jets, Jets !

It would be nice to play at home, but if we are going to make it to the superbowl we need to play better football than we did in the first half against the ravens...

As much as I'd love to see the Steelers whip the **** out of the Cheaters I'll be rooting for the Jets so we can play at home next week.

I want the Jets badly, since I'm holding tickets for next weeks game. J-E-T-S, Jets, Jets, Jets.
