Default Baltimore Raven Poetry
Hey guys. Today I had to write a poem off of the top of my head for English class. After sitting here with a blank stare on my face for about a half hour, the topic hit me. Write a poem about the Ravens! What better topic than the Ratbirds! So here is my poem, I'm no Walt Whitman but hopefully some of you might get a few laughs!

My name is Joe Flacco
Now I’m out of the pocket
I look like a wacko
Harrison is coming like a rocket
Now I am sacked
Wow that really hurt
My memory is black
I should have worn a skirt

My name is Ray Lewis
My lawyer was great
I look like I’m clueless
I can’t get a date
I blame it on the offense when we fail
I’m thankful my attorney got me out of jail
I use Old Spice when I really smell
Here comes Mendenhall, get me out of this Hell!

My name is T Suggs,
I look like a goon
I could be on drugs
We lost way too soon
I celebrate a lot
We thought we were rough
It was all for naught
Man those Steelers are tough

My name is Ed Reed
I think I’m the best
Oops, there goes Mike Wallace
Now I’m really a mess
Off he goes in for the touchdown
Boy, on film I will look like a clown

My name is John Harbaugh
I coach this team
Did Ray Rice just fumble?
I need to blow off some steam
I often tend to really complain
I’m similar to the scarecrow, “If I only had a brain”

On and on goes the Ravens sad story
When will they get their return to glory?
Until then the Ravens will not make a roar
The Steeler will say to the Raven, “Nevermore Raven, Nevermore.”

Haha thanks guys. The poem was a hit in class today. I never anticipated that people who didn't even like the Steelers would enjoy it! It appears that hating the Ravens just has universal appeal!
