Default Matchup problems for the Jets?

Any thoughts on the loss of Damien Woody for the Jets? No pun intended, but could this be their Achilles heel? I didn't see much of a drop off in his replacement, Wayne Hunter, but the Pats in opinion have a weak pass rush. We, however, have athletic line backers that have become accustomed to rushing the passer. Thoughts on the loss of RT-Damien Woody? Will we expose the right side of their line?..

The Pats D was one of the worst in the league. When Bart Scott went into his cromagnon english speech, he brought it up. It was very true. Pats D had as much to do with the Pats losing Sunday as Tom Brady and their O.

I see matchup problems on both sides.

Our ST's is horrible...and the Jets are damn good.

What WR do we take out? Holmes or Edwards? Last game Edwards had his way with our secondary.

Last matchup Hood got his a$$ whooped. Can he stand his ground this week?

How do the Jets stop Harrison and Woodley? If they do...DL will send Timmons.

How do the Jets prevent the big play from Wallace?

Can the Jets stop our run? They struggled against the Pats and us stopping the run. But some how managed to keep both teams out of the endzone?

How does our offense get 6 points in the redzone? The Jets defense seems to dominate in the redzone.

The funny thing is woody missed the steelers game in week 15. he had minor surgery on his knee and missed weeks 14-17 came back for the colts game and on the final drive injured his Achilles and was put on IR.

Wayne hunter has done an excellent job filling in at RT and last game agaisnt you guys, you only had 1 sack and it was from james farrior. none for woodly or harrison. jets had 3 , 2 by our nickel back coleman and 1 by OLB bryan thomas

I really hope brad smith plays but cro has done great on KRs. our PRs aren't very good though. Edwards is a tougher matchup cause even covered you can throw it up and he can get it. holmes is a better route runner though. they compliment each other well. Last game we held your pass rush to 1 sack from farrior. jets will use quick plays and get teh ball out of marks hand quickly. look for lots of 3 step drops. I think wallace will be paired with revis and if not i think they'll give cro help ove rthe top and have cro get physical with him. Jets only had issues with the pats run becuase we had 11 DBs dressed. we gave them the run to eliminate the pass. we'll be more balanced on D against you guys

I know a lot of us Steeler fans put lots of emphasis on Troy, but he was out against you guys. as a result we play a lot of "vanilla" coverages and ask LB's to do more in coverage. With him in there it frees things up a bit more for the OLB's.. In addition Ziggy has morphed into a man child on DL
