In my opinion Suisham made a decent job, but we can't rely on him for the next season, so I'll spend a 4th round pick on a good kicker or spend some money for an experienced one, and also Spulveda conditions should be tested, but if the man is in good conditions I won't replace him

We should also consider the lockout situation...

there gonna become free agents
should we sign them and add 1 or 2 more bodies
or should we let them go so we can bring in maybe 4 or 5 guys
and try to re do almost the whole line

I think we are probably going to draft a tackle in the first round, so that should seal up another O line spot for a long time to come. Maybe sign another lineman and sign a kicker as well. I'd like to see us draft a corner in the second round so we don't have to go to free agency on that one.

I've been considering whether we should give Kapinos the nod over Sepulveda. I know Sep is a fan favorite and everything, but he really hasn't worked out and Kapinos seems to be getting the job done.

I'd cut Aaron Smith and his 5 million dollar a year contract, then sign Ngata and give the 5 mill a year to him.
NOW, THATS AN UPGRADE!

Sepulvedas time in the 40 is among the fastest in the league. He can run with the best of them. That speed helps when you have sub-par special teams.
Sepulveda is faster than some kick and punt returners.
Troy runs a 4.0 , Revis runs a 4.38 , Sepulveda runs a 4.43 [just for comparison].
P.S. Ike ran a 4.18 - Even Mike Wallace is nowhere near that fast. 4.28

and you think the Ravens wouldnt match it ? Ngata will sign his new contract in the range of 6 years 80 mil with at least 30 mil guaranteed.

K: All depends who can kick at Heinz field, it sure would be nice to have vinateri if he can boot it there, or even longwell.
I really don't want another RB. I'd like to give the ones we have a chance. I'd actually like to see us use Redman a little more and we still haven't seen Dwyer.

I didn't realize Vinatieri was available. Yes. I'd like him. Kickers can go for a while. Before anyone says we can't afford it, keep in mind we were going to pay Reed as a top kicker. The price difference can't be much. We can go without it but I think he might help win a game or two.

I'm in for drafting a kicker and I've even been insulted for saying 3rd round but I keep trying to explain to these people that the last pick in the 3rd round is really like an early 4th round pick so the other teams who are planning to start selecting kickers in the 4th can't take the 1 or 2 kickers we want. I would want them to get the very best. The only difference between 32nd pick in the 3rd and early 4th is the supplemental picks. Our 4th is like an early 5th.

If we can't get the top 1 or 2 kickers, I think we should just wait to try out UFAs. There is usually a drop off after the top 2 or so each year.
