I think Big Ben is using his exaggerated allegations as a fuel
for the season, much the way Ray Lewis did after his legal problems.
If you recall Ray used that as motivated to go all the way. I really
think Ben is doing the very same thing. If they win it, you will see Ben
extra exuberant - watch for it.

I think Ben is just grateful to still be doing what he loves to do.

When I saw him with the towel over his face after the game, I thought to myself that there's a guy who is thanking his lucky stars and all the people that threw him a lifeline and gave him a second chance to get his life pointed in the right direction. I think his new outlook on life is genuine and I believe he's well aware of how quickly it can all be taken away.

In other words I don't think he's succeeding in spite of what's happened but rather because of it.

Yeah, I don't see him going around and chest thumping like Ray Ray has been.

He seemed pretty humbled with they won the AFC. Whether it was an act or not, I don't know. But it seemed like the first thing he did (after getting humped by Mendy) was get down on his knees and cry into a towel.

Well the haters are going to be there for a while as well as all the juveniles who refer to him as "Rapistberger" (who will be there even longer because their tiny brains see things only one way and they believe that people don't change).

Perceptions take time to change and some will never change. The only way to reduce the hater's ranks is for Ben to live a clean life and over time the hate will go away or at least get to the point where it's a non-issue.

Time will tell.

Yeah I know he's gonna get booed and whatnot...I just want to stop hearing "rapist" get thrown around at games and in tweets and whatnot. Other athletes have had troubles and they've slowly faded away. I hope this is the case with Ben.
