Not feeling good about this draft thing ladies and gents. White was a shoe in for this offense and we wasted him away to Tennessee. Our first rounder better be an all star right away opposite of Hines (and he sure better be able to bust through that line LOL), cause I think we're in trouble on offense this year. Every team will tee off on Big Ben knowing that we don't have that big threat behind the line. Willie is fast, but he doesn't always fit into Pittsburgh's offense. Just a thought.

Willie can fit into our offense. I dont understand when people say this. The guy rushed for 1200 yards last year! He's young, quick, and is still learning. We have Verron there to pound it out at the end of games, and duce can fill in jeromes role as long as he's healthy.
We needed a wideout, hands down. Getting Holmes was a great move Quote:

I dont think our running game will be in trouble. Parker, Duce, Humes, and Hayes .. plus there is NOOOOOOO WAYYYYY in hell a team can stack the line against us and thye play man to man on Ward, Wilson, Holmes, Reid and Miller to boot. We haev 3 guys with 4.3 speed and two others in Ward and Miller who can beat someone one on one. I think we wil be just fine as long as our OL stays healthy. After the playoff games against CINCY, INDY, DENVER... people i dont think are going to say .. lets make Ben beat us for too much longer.

Must respectfully disagree with you there. A 1200 yard home run threat coupled with a decent "between the tackles" runner in Staley (when he's healthy) should be enough for the running game this year. Besides, after last year, teams have to respect the pass from Roethlisberger more. That means no more stacking 8 in the box on every first and second down. The Steelers realize this and is why they placed first round importance in the passing game. Ben needs weapons. I liked Randel El but he just wasn't the greatest reciever. Understandable as he was a QB for most of his career. Holmes is a pure reciever who finds the end zone and is fast. The offense will be changed to reflect the maturity of the passing game...watch.
