Steelers to hold Friday pep rally at Heinz Field
Thursday, January 27, 2011 Pittsburgh Post-Gazette http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/11027/1120913-53.stm The Steelers will host one last rally for the team Friday afternoon at Heinz Field, featuring a replay of the AFC championship game and appearances from players. The free "Steelers Super Bowl Pep Rally" is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. and feature the game replay, performances by a high school marching band, the Pittsburgh Poison dance team and House of Soul. KDKA-TV's Bob Pompeani and Ken Rice and Steelers radio play-by-play announcer Bill Hillgrove will emcee the event and introduce members of the team. Admission is free but parking at stadium and Carnegie Science Center lots will cost $5. The lots open at 2 p.m. and stadium gates A and B will open at 4 p.m. Limited food concessions will be available.
