Default Big shoutout and Props to Lamarr Woodley

Just like to show my respect for this guy.........he could have been a diva during training camp and held out............but he put the team 1st and has given the Steelers another Herculean effort this season

Just hope he has another great SB and the team gets another ring for him......boy it would be hard to see the Steelers let this guy go but its going to be a tough sign and I'll completely understand his side

that guy always takes a while to get started, but if he keeps being a big time player in the postseason, we need to keep him

We MUST sign him. He is a true class act and a fan favorite, not to mention one of the best linebackers in the league. He steps up in a big way in the post-season and is an absolute handful for the opposing offensive line. Woodley is the definition of what a Pittsburgh Steeler should be, and we need to give him whatever amount of money he wants.

i wonder where worilds goes from here if lamarr gets resigned, because it doesn't look like harrison is slowing down anytime soon

harrison may be 'old' by nfl standards, but he has gotten his career started late, so his body hasn't taken a beating nearly as much as most players his age. in terms of football age, he's probably 28-29

In the Baltimore game, he was wrecking havoc in the first quarter. Once they started to double him with the running back, Silverback destroyed from the other side. Woodley is the perfect Steeler and is a prime time player. You sign him and you sign him as soon as this new CBA is set. And Woodley will eventually be a 20 sack player at some point.

I think Worilds will mature at just the right time. Even in the best case scenario, how many years can Silverback have left in him? Sure, he hasn't been a starter until recently, but he still has taken plenty of hits over the course of his NFL career in practices, games, and scrimmages.

Worilds, like most LBers in our system, will take a couple years to mature. In the meantime....we have Silverback and Woodley.

I think harrison has 3 more "good" years in him. He doesn't look like he's slowing down now so there's no reason for me to think he's done in 1-2 years.
