To claim such a name with nothing to back it up is is empty rhetoric.
Yeah, I'm a fan of America's Team...............So obviously I'm better than you................NOT!! I read somewhere that the name was almost meant for The Steelers back in the 70s, but The Chief said no, This is Pittsburgh's Team.

ton of steelers fans were at the pro bowl, i was surprised. years back, in 1992 I wore a rod roodson jersey to the pro bowl and was the only fan there other than maybe 2 others ive seen that wore any steelers gear.

yesterday, i saw them all over the place. the 'hometown' team here is the 49ers and I think there were more polamalu jerseys than joe montana jerseys in the stadium. never thought i'd see the day, in 1990 I was a bit of an outcast for being a steeler fan. how quickly the fanbase rises after a few championships lol.

oh yeah a ton of brady jerseys too. nobody gave a crap about the patriots* in the 90's. actually if anyone wore patriots gear in the 1990's they would have been made fun of lol

Yah definately, I have even seen some Steelers fans reppin in Wisconsin this week with me. I have my " Your in Steeler Country" banner flying high and proud outside of my house( hope it doesn't get stolen again like it was 2 years ago.) Wouldn't doubt it though if we win #7.

yea...there's really even no such thing as America's team.
We move the most merchandise and have the most fans, if you want to go there......

But the fact is that every team has fans and there's no "one" America's team. Like in my previous post....its just a "marketing" sales ploy
