Default Losing but still setting RECORDS!

Last nite we continued to set an NFL Record. We have scored more than 20 points in 15 consecutive games! Thats 3 more than the previous record holder the Dallas Cowboys at 12.

Find the positive.

The 2007 Patriots scored 20 or more points in every single game that season (including the 2 playoff games), except for the Super Bowl. That's 18 games in a row....and if you go back to the previous season, they had 24 in a row...

true or not... they lost, and for such a great d

gave up 24, 19, 31 in the playoffs 74 points.. basically 24.5 a game.. a far cry from the 14.5 during the season

granted the offense didnt help

if im thinking correctly 35 points off turnovers? (14 ravens, 21 packers) but were is the d with sudden change??

I think the record is 15 consecutive playoff games.

I don't think you're giving the offense enough credit. They helped the other team with an average of 3 turnovers a game.

Yeah but, if the other teams scores more, who cares?

Turnover ratio was a big plus in the Steelers favor in the regular season. The offense may not have been lighting up the scoreboard all the time, but they weren't making critical errors...all while the defense was making a good amount of turnovers. Ben only threw 5 INT's in the 12 games he's played...pretty much his best regular season showing in that respect.

That all got reversed in the playoffs though. The D had one lonely INT and 3 fumble recoveries in 3 games. Offense lost 3 fumbles and Ben had 4 INTs in 3 games.

The TO ratio was +17 in the regular season and -3 in the postseason. That's why the games were so close and turned out the way they did. Both sides are to blame for that.
