Default The Good, Bad, and the Ugly

The Good-

the 2 point conversion was a great play. in what had been a pretty dismal game, it was at that point i thought we were going to win or atleast take it to OT. it brought hope.

i actually enjoyed the halftime show for the 1st time in years. i was really worried goodell would dig up elvis presley's corpse and try to have him do a show before the black eyes peas got the gig.

troy polamalu completely blasting greg jennings at the goaline, which leads us to...

The Bad-

greg jennings still held onto the ball and scored on what was maybe troys best play (atleast biggest hit) of the day.

'tails never fails' finally failed. so did our offense in the 1st quarter.

forcing the ball to wallace. wallace looked BIG and fast on his td reception. unfortunately ben missed him when he was wide open and threw his 2 picks trying to get him the ball. charles woodson broke his collar bone trying to cover him. ward, el, and miller had some pretty significant catches.

the sanders injury and the absence of antonio brown (except on special teams) which leads us to....

The Ugly-

a. brown is a legit returner. too bad our penalties seemed to negate all his returns.

aj hawk and clay matthews. they put the butt in ugly.

the WWE style champions belt draped over a. rodgers shoulder that almost cheapens and tarnishes the beautiful lombardi. packers should be ashamed.

the lyrical and vocal hack job c. aguillera butchered the national anthem with. and she calls herself a pgh native??? embarrassing. people should just sing the song the way it was intended to be sung. plus she is looking like she has been riden hard and put to bed wet. the much older fergie looks alot better.

rashard mendenhall's fumble. he very well coulda been rushing towards the mvp trophy. he coughed it up along with our best shot at overcoming an 18 point deficite and greatest sb comeback ever.

was anyone else able to take any good out of the game?

seriously ? you enjoyed the halftime ... worst halftime I've ever seen. I think it could have been pretty good but was horribly executed.

well you kind of have to give Christina Aguilera a pass because she is right now very depressed about her failed marriage and lousy film acting career, kind of like with Mariah and Spears. she's past her prime in both beauty and recording so she pretty much has nothing left and you're going to probably hear about her soon going into one of those break-down clinics so don't add salt to her already wounds.

The good
We have a good core in our receivers
Our Oline should be decent next year with all the experience, which frees up our first pick for a corner.
The Bad
William Gay doesn't cut it as a corner, time for him to move on.
The stupid penalties have to stop
The ugly
I am almost thinking we trade Mendy and use Redman, almost

Mendenhall has one fumble in 328 snaps and you want to trade him. Thank god you're not part of the FO.

After blabbering here all day and not getting my wrk done Imfeeling better and better.

Last night I wasn't really pissed as Ben has pulled games out of his ass in the past and delivered. He will again. We have caught breaks in the SB's before, and this time as Ben said the ball didn't bounce our way. Sure he tossed 2 int's, and mendy fumbled. Thats aggressive in nature. The penalties that keep occuring are the nail in the coffin.

Browns run back of 40 plus called back. Starting 15 deep on Fox's BS penalty. These are disclplined errors by stupid people.

We have a great core, a great group of guys, some tweaks and add's and we are back in the Sb next year.

Keep in mind this.

Mannings are still the mannings. Big games they still get green
Sanchez will still have the ball taken out of his hand by the coach.
Flacco will still choke than complain it wasn't him.
Rivers will still miss the playoffs or choke his way out.
Rodgers although played well, showed some green when the game was n the line, our def let him back.

I'll take Ben any day of the week. I said it in the summer, I said it in the fall. I'll say it now. I enjoyed the season, I enjoyed the playoffs.

i think you're the 1st person i've actually heard that enjoyed the halftime show. the B-eyed Peas were goddawful, Slash was horrible (his stupid hat-i'm going to guest solo thing has gotten REALLY REALLY old...) and Aguilera was so bad people were actually laughing. Thats right....laughing out loud.

I do agree with your "forcing the ball to Wallace" thing. I think thats exactly right. We were so hyped up on wallace it did seem as if we kept "forcing' him the ball and not utilizing Heath, Spaeth, Hines or other WR's nearly enough.
