What a heart breaker yesterday was. But six time Super Bowl Champions is still as good as it gets in the NFL & nobody can take that away from the boys. I started collecting the Iron City Steeler cans back in the 70s when I was a kid & I still have a pretty huge collection. I stopped collecting when cans went from steel to aluminum back in the 80s though. In recent years I have produced some metal can blanks & rolled them myself to add to that collection & thought I'd share with other fans.
This is a can blank from a series of Superbowl cans I am working on but have yet to roll. I don't have access to large enough HQ team photos for other years but 2009 so that's the only one finished. If anyone has images they could share I'd love to finish this set & share them all. Here's the 2009 can blank & a simulated rolled can pic. ![]()
