The game is still waiting in my DVR queue. I haven't been able to rewatch it yet. I was at the game, so I usually record the games and rewatch it when I get home to see what I may have missed. I just haven't been able to bring myself to do that yet. My brother-in law told me I'm going to be sick when I see how wide open Heath was down the seam on Ben's second INT. The Packer's guy is being praised for making a great read and play when in reality he blew his assignment and left a guy wide open for a TD that never happened.

Like most people, I DVR'd the game as I always do. But when Wallace missed that last pass, I flipped the channel to something else and while watching that, I erased the game and that's that.

Why on earth would I want to watch us lose again?

I refused to watch the packers ballwashing last week, so I didn't watch anything on TV about it. All I did watch was the highlights on nfl.com while I broke down specific plays and determined what went wrong. Like the ints, the fumble, the penalties, the wallace over throw...but as for the rewatch of the entire game...couldn't do it. Oh, I watched the entire last 2 min drive as well.

avoided all sports talk otherwise...this week, I've turned back on the sports talk. but still get sick when I hear the word Packers at this point. Sick and disgusted with our lack of performing up to the level that got us into the game in the first place.

great responses! please keep them and the votes coming. ive gained alot of insight that i think is probably reflective of our entire fanbase. i think im a bit shocked what a large percentage avoid the media altogether.

myself, i have emersed myself in every bit of footage espn, nfl network, showtime, and nfl films have to offer (of course i normally watch all these shows after every superbowl and during the season) i think i have finally seen everything produced with the season finale of NFL FILMS PRESENTS. i think i am finally sick of it.

"nfl films presents" closes with all the confetti falling on the field and clips of about 5 or 6 packer players celebrating with their babies (giving hugs and kisses) and small children on the field. that is hard to stomach.

i have watched the miked up segments of SOUND FX multiple times (as it brings you as close to the game as you can possibly get. especially disturbing is kevin green telling clay matthews that charles woodson (their leader) is no longer in the game and it is time for him to stand up and take control. "IT IS TIME!"

the very next play is clay in the huddle saying that the steelers are gonna run right at him. "I got a feeling." "they keep on looking over here at me." BOOM. fumble. right place at the right time.

interesting shot of troy blasting jordy nelson and knocking him off his route and out of bounds 15-20 yards beyond the line of scrimmage. if the ball was going his way, this certainly woulda been a penalty.

jordy complains to jennings on the sideline that he was blindsided. jennings goes out and tells troy "dont be trying to cheapshot my boy... yeah, he told me. *laughs*"

woodley telling the refs he was blatantly held on the play with james harrisons sack. ref responds "yeah, we woulda thrown the flag, but you guys got the sack anyways" (shouldnt a flag always be thrown and the steelers have the option of declining the penalty?)

*sigh*

i think i am finally through until the packers AMERICAS GAME is released the day before the opener. of course i am sick and will look at their ring when pictures are released.

If you watched that awful 4 hour Fox pre-game show again you really need to get out more

But seriously - enjoy -

After the 2 SB wins I also watched the game and trophy presentaton repeatedly as well as buying the season highlights DVD as well as the DVD with the full playoff games + Super Bowl - I assume you will be buying those as well

You also have the America's Game for the 2010 Packers to look forward to - who do you anticipate will be the third speaker (Charles Woodson?) to join Rodgers and McCarthy?

After the game ended I did not watch the post-game and avoided sports TV for several days for reasons including the danger I would have thrown something through the screen if Steve Young would have appeared

As usual, I read Peter King's MMQB and John Clayton's online reports the day after the game and listened to Michael Lombardi's audio breakdown on Bill Simmons ESPN podcast

Have watched a replay of the game in its entirety and the third quarter twice to see why the Steelers could not take the lead until momentum turmed for good after the Meddebnhall fumble

Rewatching the game made me feel better - Green Bay did not play a perfect game and left points on the field so I am comfortable the Steelers were not the victims of some harmonic convergence of bad luck that unjustifiably denied them another Lombardi

I watched very little....seeing Sound FX was enought to get me close to
Hard part is.....I thought it was gonna turn out like SB XLIII at the end. If it had been we'd all be on here saying we couldnt get enough replays......

I know how some of you feel though. I still hate the Broncos for beating us in 97. I love watching them lose.

I did what I normally do. Threw shit for a while, kicked the cat, put holes in the wall.

Seriously though, I watched all the post game interviews and have watched the game a few times. I just move on basically. It was a good season and when you've been to 8 Superbowls, you're bound to lose a couple. We'll be back.
