1 - CAR: Fairley, Nick - DT - Auburn
I could see Cam Newton here but I think they make the decision to wait for next year's draft to get a new franchise QB and see if Jimmy Clausen can improve his game. 2 - DEN: Bowers, Da'Quan - DE - Clemson Could also see Peterson here but since Champ inked a new contract I think they go for immediate improvement on the Dline 3 - BUF: Newton, Cam - QB - Auburn Buffalo is high on Cam, Chan Gailey reportedly likes the spread offense, I see this as a perfect fit 4 - CIN: Green, A.J. - WR - Georgia I think they draft a QB in round two and get a new wideout to replace Ocho 5 - ARI: Miller, Von - OLB - Texas A&M The 3-4 needs a great OLB to work, and right now Arizona lacks this 6 - CLE: Dareus, Marcell - DT - Alabama Cleveland just lost Shaun Rodgers and could use a replacement 7 - SF: Peterson, Patrick - CB - LSU SF could use a new CB and with Peterson dropping this far, they simply can't resist. 8 - TEN: Gabbert, Blaine - QB - Missouri Tennesse starts anew with a new QB 9 - DAL: Quinn, Robert - DE - North Carolina Dallas could use some Dline help 10 - WAS: Jones, Julio - WR - Alabama Rax Grissman needs someone else to throw to 11 - HOU: Smith, Aldon - DE - Missouri Amukamara is tough to pass up but Houston needs help building their 3-4 and Smith is on the rise 12 - MIN: Amukamara, Prince - CB - Nebraska With the top two QBs off the board Minnesota passes on a QB for this great CB prospect 13 - DET: Solder, Nate - OT - Colorado With Amukamara and Peterson gone Detroit looks to protect their "China Doll" franchise QB 14 - STL: Jordan, Cameron - DE - California STL needs a receiver badly but the top two are off the board and they decide to take the BPA approach 15 - MIA: Ingram, Mark - RB - Alabama Pretty much everyone has Miami taking Ingram so I will too 16 - JAX: Smith, Jimmy - CB - Colorado Jimmy Smith is on the up-and-up and Jacksonville could use a new face in the secondary if the rumors than Mathis is out are true 17 - NE: Kerrigan, Ryan - DE - Purdue NE doesnt really need help on offense and Kerrigan fills a need on D 18 - SD: Watt, J.J. - DE - Wisconsin Same as NE 19 - NYG: Ayers, Akeem - OLB - UCLA NY needs a Linebacker pretty bad 20 - TB: Clayborn, Adrian - DE - Iowa Tampa needs a new face on the Dline 21 - KC: Taylor, Phil - DT - Baylor KC could use a good NT to help stop the run 22 - IND: Castonzo, Anthony - OT - Boston College Indy could use some oline help and Costonzo is looking good 23 - PHI: Pouncey, Mike - OG - Florida Philly brings the other Pouncey twin to Pennsylvania 24 - NO: Liuget, Corey - DT - Illinois NO could use a good DT to help return their defense to championship form. 25 - SEA: Locker, Jake - QB - Washington Call me crazy but I think Locker improves his stock; he was once considered a number 1 overall pick and would obviously be very popular up there in Washington 26 - BAL: Harris, Brandon - CB - Miami Baltimore needs CB help, they go for Harris here with the consensus top 3 gone already 27 - ATL: Baldwin, Jon - WR - Pittsburgh Matt Ryan needs a good tall target across from Roddy White and Baldwin would make Atlanta's offense dangerous (not that it wasn't already) 28 - NE: Smith, Tyron - OT - USC I think they will wind up trading this pick somewhere but NE is always looking to keep Tom Terrific upright and Matt Light is getting up there in age. Also: The Patriots suck and Tom Brady is gay. 29 - CHI: Carimi, Gabe - OT - Wisconsin Chicago needs some help keeping Jay Cutler upright or else he'll cry and take himself out of another playoff game 30 - NYJ: Smith, Torrey - WR - Maryland I think New York will realize they cannot financially keep both Holmes and Edwards, let one go and draft another WR in their place so Mark Sanchez still has good receiver depth. 31 - PIT: Williams, Aaron - CB - Texas Pittsburgh needs a CB badly and Aaron Williams is a physical freak who is good against the run and fits our system well. 32 - GB: Wilkerson, Muhammad - DT - Temple GB looks to improve their Dline further and open more holes for their linebackers. |
