Default Burress

I'm in no way saying I want the Steelers to sign him, but what would your thoughts be if the Steelers went out and picked him up cheap.

They won't get him.

But if they did, I wouldn't mind it at all, as long as he can still contribute at an NFL level and has become a better person through imprisonment, understands his role on the team and isn't any kind of egomaniac...he could add another dimension to our offense, the one Sweed was supposed to but obviously didnt. Hey, jail turned out pretty well for Vick, maybe it did wonders for Plax too.

I'd rather give Sweed another shot.

And if they did pick him up, who's to say he'd have a good work ethic....like he had one when he was with the Steelers.......NOT!

Might as well dress em in skirts!

Steelers have not been able to replace Burress as a tall WR despite such failed experiments as Sweed, but going back into the past and signing an aging WR who has spent the last 2 years limited to what workouts he can perform in prison is not the solution to that problem

The Plaxico Buress era ended the way it should have. He will never, ever put on the Black and Gold again and quite frankly, we don't need 'em. BIG NO.

If I were calling the shots, it would be tempting to see what he can still do, but after thinking about it for a while I would turn it down.

As a fan, I wouldn't be too happy to see him back with the Steelers
