Default Proud to meet the rest of THE NATION

Hello friends,

My name is Rick. I live in Rockland County NY which is 20 minutes north of NYC. I've been a Steeler fan since I was 6 years old (1989). I remember Dwayne Woodruff, Bubby, Lipps... etc. I even had one of those HUTCH uniforms for kids with a big # 6 on the front. Then Greene, Lloyd, Woodson, Hastings, Lake, Bam, Slash and the infamous Neil. I love this team, I defend this team, this team is more than just a passing interest. In fact my love for this team my border on unhealthy. I died/cried a little this febuary, but not as hard as 15 years ago. I shiver at the memories of Neil O'Donnell making an unknown stumble-bum into Super Bowl XXX's MVP.

Just a few extra details. I went to the AFC Championship last year. It was my first time in Pittsburgh. It was the greatest time of my life. I hope to add to this board the best I can with my limitted knowlege (HA-HA) vivid memories, and spirited attitude.

I say, with no shame, I have a bit of a Man-Crush on Breet Keisel (drives my girlfriend nuts). I shaved my playoff beard at half time of the Super Bowl this year. It seemed like it was working... @#$%. I haven't shaved since the Super Bowl and I am not going to until at least next years SB (god-willing there is one).

Last but not least I WISH THIS TEAM WOULD PUT THE BLOCK NUMBERS BACK ON THE JERSEYS!!!!

Nice to meet you all.
