Is it fair that the NFL releases the wonderlic scores on draft prospects?

Though it's interesting,perhaps even relevant, but regardless I feel sorry for these guys who scored low on the test. Just doesn't seem fair to open them up to public ridicule like this.

I think it's fair. Its not like this is a scholastic test. It is 100% objective what you think of a guys score. Low scorers have done well, and high scorers have become busts!

I think that if NFL players can't stand up to scrutiny of their wonderlic test scores they are going to have a tough time when the media starts in on them. If you are an NFL player who is insecure about his wonderlic score your play is going to drop the first time you are labelled a bust, or an underachiever etc. Also, you might as well hide the benchpress, 40 time, vertical jump etc. because it is just another measurement of a player's ability. I am sure that there are a good deal of OL that care more about getting out benched than out wonderliced. I agree that scoring in the bottom of the class would be embarassing though.
