Good afternoon everybody may I take this opportunity to introduce myself. I am Bill and I live in England and I have become an almost obsessive Steelers fan over the last few years.
I am in the Military and have served for 32 years. I retire from the service shortly and I have decided as my retirement treat to try and fulfil a long held ambition and get to see the Black and Gold in a regular season game at Heinz Field. I would be bringing my long suffering wife with me as I think the trip is a non starter without permission from the Long Haired Admiral! I need some advice from the Heinz Field faithful, how would I go about getting tickets when the schedule is out and provided the clubs and the players get back around the table. My problem would be that I can not start thinking about making arrangements, flights and hotels etc until I am sure I can get my hands on two tickets. Where would be my best starting point be for my best chance of getting those all important tickets? Here’s hoping someone can point me in the right direction and one day I can be there in the flesh to cheer the Steelers back to the Superbowl! |

From one new member to another... welcome! I went to the AFC Championship game this year (Steelers/Jets). It was my first time at Heinz Field. It was the greatest time of my life! I plan to go back two or three times this upcoming season. Hopefully they will figure out the CBA, so there will actually be games to play.
I went to TicketMaster (www.ticketmaster.com) and found two seats for about $540 for a pair(About 335GBP). Keep in mind these seats were at the very top row in the endzone. I thought the seats were still great with a great view of the action. Also you know you're sitting up with the real die-hards when you are up that high. It was about 12F (-11C) without counting the wind-chill. I would buy from ticketmaster rather than ebay. At least you have the security of a well known company to back up your purchase. Regular season games will be much cheaper i'm sure. They you just have to worry about transportation. I drove from New York, stayed an a MicroTel Hotel for $72 per night and it was as clean as a hospital. I payed $10 for non-stadium parking, got on a nearby ferry for another $10 and it dropped us off right at the steps of Heinz Field. C'mon over! You'll never forget it
