He wasn't "Raven material"... his rap sheet wasn't quite long enough. Plus, no felonies.

I thought the Dolphins would take the East this year...now I'm not so sure.

Someone is actually going to give this thug $275k, minimum, and let him loose in Miami? Has anyone put it in these terms to the Dolphins FO? Marcus Vick...with a bunch of cash...in Miami...unsupervised?

What could possibly go wrong?

The guy sticks up for Ricky and signs Marcus Vick. Saban, as I was convinced of last season, is an idiot.

I think maybe the NFL stepped in and forced Miami to take Vick on board, as a kind of handicap.

Its clear to those who follow football that the Dolphins pretty much have the AFC East sewn up this year - the NFL had to step in and try and introduce some element of competition......

This is parity in action......

The Patriots didn't bother with swagger to start this NFL season; they went straight to defiant. Either you're one of them or you're about to get crushed.

What are the odds on him pulling a Tanya Harding on Daunte Culpepper?

There's always the flip side of that question of what could go right??
Like Marcus permanently disappearing ala a BFI Dumpster after pissing off the best of Miami's criminal element.

You have to think positive.
