Default Martial Law 9/11: Rise of the Police State

Has anyone watched 'Martial Law 9/11: Rise of the Police State'? I accidently stumbled upon it and thought it was very interesting. Much better than than the Michael Moore BS. Check it out at... http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...62761605341661.

When you have the time I recommend that you watch it in it's entirety.

I remember this guy. He was on the news briefly one night during the RNC in 2004, ranting about Bush and Kerry being cousins, and the "big conspiracy" to cover it up. When he'd had his say, the reporter tried to talk to someone else, and this guy kept jumping into the camera view and continuing with his spiel. Needless to say, he came across as a nutcase.

The issue of security versus personal freedom is a double edged sword, and there isn't a perfect solution. It's the same way with the supposed "police state" argument, and others similar to it.

To me, any valid arguments this guy might have are seriously comprimised by his fanatical delivery and extremely manipulative editing.

He does make some good points though. You can't deny that.

Yes, he does. I just think they're undermined by his overdramatization, manipulative editing to fit his agenda, and various other scare tactics.

Rep to you for posting it though. It beats the heck out of the vague, generic opinions that topics like this seem to produce. I just can't get that image of him I saw on the news out of my head. I wish I had a clip of it.

Kudo's to you! This is simply another intelligent person that believes he can make monetary gain and fame by harping against the Govt in a Michael Moore fashion. Would like to see real fanaticism or Govt intervention? Visit some of the countries I have seen. The U.S. is nothing like them. What about Iran now forcing "Non-Muslims" to wear a badge ID'ing them as such? 9-11 was real, the loss of life was real, security is now a MUST HAVE. Should we give up all of our personal freedoms? Of course not. But it is a compromise that we must all endure. Stay out of the Global War on Terror? Isolationism didn't work prior to WW I ....and it definitely will not work today.

10,000 Police in New York during the RNC? GOOD! You do realize I hope, that these extremist "Theo-terrorists" do not wish us to leave the Middle East ....they wish us dead, period. It's that simple.

So, MattsMe, I think you were correct in your post. Did he have valid posts? Possibly...but I could not sift them from his own extremist means of "reporting."

I have a problem with the conspiracy theories when they go too far. For instance, there is a huge movement questioning the validity of the Pentagon attack, and if a 767 actually crashed into it, with all kinds of evidence supporting there theory. But one of my best friends saw it happen, and he wasn't the only one. How can there be a legitimate conspiracy that it was only a bomb when hundreds, if not thousands of people saw it?

My cousin didn't see it, but he sure as hell felt it. Of course, that's only an assumption, since he didn't live to tell about it.

I'm truly sorry for your loss...it's got to suck to have people disrespect his memory this way...
