Yeah, the jury should get a full medical report and autopsy reports. Who knows what kind of shape the guy was in.

My first reaction is that the kid should pay for the consequences of his actions. A man was killed as a result of a confrontation the two had. That sounds like murder to me, but I'm not the one who will decide.

Anyone else think this is a case of prosecutional excess? Can you believe this dipsheet D.A. is actually going to bring charges against a woman who alleges she was sexually harrassed by the police?

That is crazy. I don't know who you have to be to get the cops working for you and not against you.

I don't know why, because I've known some cops, and they are the greatest people you can know. It's just that the law doesn't work for some people, or if it does the help comes too late.

We hear to many stories about victims of crimes getting no help from the police or the courts.

This is a bullshit prosecution. I've got a lot of friends and relatives who are cops. But like everything else there are good ones and rotten ones. They need to weed out the rotten ones also over zealous DAS. Hopefully they will get this law changed but it probably be until it goes to a higher court. After all this did happen in Chicago the home of corruption.
