stagedive goes bad.
http://msn.foxsports.com/nascar/story/5643342 Elliott Sadler, driver of the No. 38 Ford in the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series, sustained only minor injuries on Friday evening after a fall from a stage in Uptown Charlotte during the taping of the television program "Trackside" broadcast on SPEED. After rain showers earlier in the evening, Sadler slipped from the outdoor stage due to the wet surface bruising his left thigh. He sustained no other injuries as previously reported. Sadler was seen by an onsite medical team and left under his own power. He will compete in the scheduled NASCAR Busch Series (Saturday, 7:30 p.m. ET on FX) and NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series (Sunday, 5 p.m. ET on FOX) events this weekend at Lowe's Motor Speedway --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- whats funny is that it wasnt a slip or a fall. for anyone who watches the show, host jeff hammond frequently does a concert style stagedive into the crowd. they talked saddler into giving it a try. he bailed. it looked pretty bad. i bet his boss is pretty pissed and hes gonna get clowned forever. |
