Being a true fan is not about how much money you can dish out for the best seats, it's not about rolling up to the game in a flashy car, it has absolutely nothing to do with money.

Being a "real" Steelers fan is all about the passion that you have for this team. If you're a real Steelers fan, you live and die with this team. Never, not for one second, do you give up on the Pittsburgh Steelers. There may be rough times and there may be decisions that you disagree with, but you stick with them through thick and thin.

We've all had our ups & downs on this rollercoaster of life. We've had people walk out of our lives, we've moved to unfamiliar places, been surrounded by unfamiliar faces- the list goes on and on. But there's one face that we'll always be familiar with and that's the Pittsburgh Steelers logo. And if you're a Pittsburgher, there's solid ground that'll always welcome you back. And if you're not from the Burgh, we'll welcome you, too.

There's no place like home.

To me, being a real fan is watching a game where we're getting our asses kicked and even though we're down by three TD's with 12 minutes left in the game, I won't turn off the game until the clock runs out.

Sometimes even I think I'm nuts for doing that but they're my team and if I turned the game off, I'd feel as if I were abandoning them and I simply can't do that.

How many people here threw in the towel last year when we fell apart against the Ravens?

As worried as i was I sat right there while many others went outside to party! I knew in my heart they could pull it off, and if they couldnt, then i was gonna ride it out with em! Ive never been able to turn away from a game, no matter how nasty it gets! We celebrate together, and we cry together!!!!!

You're a real Steelers fan when your last memory of your grandmother was being with her when the Steelers won Super Bowl XL and she scarfs down 6 pieces of pizza, a dozen wings, half a bag of doritos and a half a box of Keebler's soft batch cookies. (And she was a petite woman who ate like a Rabbit) and then she passes away soon after. This was essentially her last meal and it was one hell of a meal I'll never forget.
